60 Southend - Temple Farm - Rochford - Stambridge - Canewdon - Paglesham

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. Expect delays in the Southend area during this time. Some services may be curtailed short of their usual terminals to maintain service reliability.

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. As part of this, the Queensway Underpass will be PERMANENTLY CLOSED after 08/12/2025, with the northern slip roads closed (except for access from Short Street) until at least January 2027. Work on the Porters Grange Roundabout (above Queensway) will also start around this time. Expect delays on all of these routes.

Due to Better Queensway works, Sutton Road will be CLOSED from 04/02/26 until 18/05/26. Buses will divert via North/Central Avenues, Bournemouth Park Road, Southchurch Avenue, and Chancellor Road (Route 60 buses go in via York Road). Services will use Stop E at Southend Travel Centre (towards Garon Park (29)/Paglesham (60)) and Stop Y (29 towards Belfairs only). Stops between Southchurch Road (and Whitehouse Road on route 60) and Guildford Road (and Greyhound Retail Park towards Garon Park/Paglesham) will NOT be served.
