Operator Updates for Southend Transport
Update: SUTTON RD/SOUTHCHURCH RD SERVICES: These services will be on diversion via Southchurch Avenue and Chancellor Road from 04/02/26 until at least May 2026 due to roadworks. These services will be unable to call at Whitegate Road and Southchurch Road (and all stops between Guildford Road/Southchurch Avenue corner and Whitegate Road) during this time. Please board these services at Southend Travel Centre (Stop E for Route 29, Stop L for Routes 24 (E/B), 60, and 61, Stop F for Routes 2 and 4/4F, Stop M for Route 24 (W/B)) during this time.
Update: SOUTHEND AREA SERVICES: Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. Expect delays in the Southend area during this time. Some services may be curtailed short of their usual terminals to maintain service reliability.
